Position: Voiceover/Broadcast Talent for Financial Media Outlet Content

Job Title: BenzingaTV Media Personalities (Contractor)
We are seeking fresh talent to join the Benzinga Shows department to plan, produce, and host live programming on BenzingaTV. We’re looking for one or more media personalities with expertise in financial markets, particularly retail trading. Candidates must either have home broadcast equipment or be local to Detroit for studio work.
This is a flexible contractor position, paid hourly or salaried, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. Current needs are 5-15 hours per week, and paid internships are also available.
Responsibilities include serving as on-camera talent, reading scripts, and conducting interviews with leadership from public and private companies, as well as other notable figures, to create video content for sponsored clients. Segments will range from scripted (e.g., brand awareness ads, press release recaps, lead generation content) to unscripted, requiring candidates to manage and guide the flow of conversation effectively.
This role can be fully remote, hybrid, or in-person depending on location and equipment setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host live and pre recorded sponsored segments on BenzingaTV
- Interview key figures such as C-suite executives, founders, and subject matter experts
- Cover both general and niche investment topics, including small/micro-caps, options, and futures
- Manage and direct the flow of conversation or content, whether scripted or unscripted
- Engage audiences on complex financial topics in an accessible manner while adhering to compliance and editorial standards
- Serve as on-air talent for BenzingaTV, including pre recorded interviews and advertorial content for clients as needed
- Potentially become the host and face of a specific show or appear across multiple shows
- Plan and strategize content for shows and live productions
- Collaborate with leadership at public and private companies to schedule and organize live appearances
- Work with team members to plan, produce, and execute live and pre recorded content
- Perform additional duties as required
Key Skills & Requirements:
Required
- Strong knowledge of retail trading and financial markets/conversational-level knowledge of financial markets, public companies, and retail investors' needs
- Broadcast experience and interviewing skills
- Ability to work remotely, hybrid, or in-person based on proximity and equipment setup
- Must be comfortable in front of a camera
- Ability to delegate tasks during show production and adapt to technical difficulties, etc., with grace
- Effective communication skills, accountability and reliability
- Must maintain discretion and judgment when handling confidential information
Desired
- Experience trading or working knowledge of multiple investment vehicles (stocks, options, futures, etc.)
- Home broadcast equipment setup or ability to work on-site in Detroit
- Voice training, acting, or performance experience preferred
- Ability to plan and create content for live and pre recorded segments
- Experience in content creation across digital platforms
- Knowledge of digital streaming best practices
Work Schedule:
Potential Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Working schedule/hourly volume will vary by applicant, preferred scope of work, live programming content schedule and need
