We're on a quest for an SEO Manager, someone with a fervent passion for crafting solutions to support an editorial team publishing 200 times/day and thousands of data pages. Experience at a news publisher strongly preferred.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to support news editorial teams and be a resource for Benzinga’s editors (keywords, length, title utilization, internal linking, on-page, etc)
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies for Benzinga’s evergreen and tools/data pages
  • Guide content review, recommendations and execution of strategies to boost guide performance (ie link building)
  • Competitive analysis on pages, keywords and categories peer sites are winning in and solution crafting reflective of Benzinga’s place in the world
  • Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, images, and internal linking, to ensure best practices are implemented
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with Benzinga's audience and business goals
  • Perform technical SEO audits and work with the development team to address issues related to site structure, speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability
  • Other SEO driving projects to support a news and evergreen content publisher (ie internal link building resource)


  • Experience working at a publisher. News publisher experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of driving organic growth and improving search engine rankings.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc
